In brief

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. It does not embed third-party content such as videos, maps or social media features; fonts and images are served from the site’s own server. Personal data are processed only when pages are retrieved and when you send an enquiry.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When a page is retrieved, Netlify processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the referring page and information about the browser and operating system.

This processing is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure and stable. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not analyse these data or combine them with other data. Netlify processes them on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

Contact form and email

When you write to us through the contact form or by email, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry: name, email address, type of enquiry and your message, and – if you provide them – organisation and the production concerned.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a collaboration or a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The form is transmitted via the Netlify Forms service. Netlify stores the submission, including IP address and browser information, and forwards it to us by email. To protect against spam, Netlify automatically checks submissions with the Akismet service of Automattic Inc., USA.

We delete your details once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Transfers to the USA

Netlify is based in the USA. According to its own information, Netlify, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. For transfers to certified companies in the USA, the European Commission has found an adequate level of data protection.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, and the right to data portability. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Please write to go@scarlattiarts.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Spanish Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es) or the Austrian Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at).

Further information

You are not obliged to provide any data; without an email address, however, we cannot answer your enquiry. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling.
